These Terms apply to every professional, salon or studio ("you", "Professional") that lists services on Salonare, operated by —, company code —, —, Lithuania ("we"). They apply alongside the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refunds page. Where they differ, these Terms prevail for you.
1. Our relationship
Salonare is a marketplace. You are an independent business; we are neither your employer nor your agent. The contract for each service is between you and the Client. You are responsible for the service, for holding any licence, qualification, insurance or registration the law requires for it, and for your own taxes, VAT and invoicing.
2. Your Studio listing
You may list only services you personally provide or that your team provides at your premises. Everything on your Studio page — name, descriptions, prices, photos, qualifications, opening hours — must be accurate and kept current. Prices you list are the prices Clients pay; you may not charge a Client more for a booking made through the platform, or steer a Client who found you here to book outside it in order to avoid our fees.
New listings are reviewed before they go live. We may ask you to change content that is misleading, unlawful, infringes someone's rights, or does not meet our content standards; we tell you what and why.
3. Bookings and cancellations
You honour every confirmed booking. You set your own cancellation deadline (0–168 hours); Clients can cancel freely before it, and refunds of online payments follow the tiers on the Cancellation & Refunds page. If you cancel a confirmed booking, the Client is refunded in full and the cancellation is recorded against your Studio; repeated cancellations are a ground for suspension (section 8).
You may mark a Client who does not attend as a no-show within the window shown in your dashboard. For online payments you retain 50 % (at least €5.00) if you have enabled no-show fees; the rest is refunded to the Client.
4. Fees
- Commission: 5 % of the amount a Client pays online for a booking. No commission on bookings paid at the appointment, or on tips.
- Subscription: optional plans with additional features; current plans and prices are on the Pricing page and in your dashboard. Plans renew monthly until cancelled; cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period.
- Changes to fees are a change to these Terms (section 10): at least 15 days' notice.
5. Payments and payouts
Online payments are processed by our payment provider under an account you open with them during onboarding and their own terms, which you accept there. Funds for your bookings, less our commission, are paid out by the provider on their schedule to the bank account you register with them. Refunds under the Cancellation & Refunds page are drawn from your share and our commission in proportion. Where a Client disputes a charge after the service, the amount and any dispute fee are drawn from your payouts; we help you respond with the booking record.
6. Client data
For each booking you receive the Client's name, the booking details and, while the booking is upcoming and for 90 days after it, their contact details. You may use this data only to perform and follow up the booking. You are an independent controller of the Client data you hold for your own business records and must comply with the GDPR for it. You may not add Clients to marketing lists without their separate consent, export or sell Client data, or contact Clients about bookings made elsewhere.
7. Ranking and visibility
Search and category results are ordered by the Studio's average rating, then by its number of reviews. Subscription plan does not affect ranking. Homepage 'Spotlight' blocks show the highest-rated Studios on the platform and are not paid placements. We do not treat our own services more favourably than yours; we offer none.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend or close your Studio for: breach of these Terms; unlawful, misleading or harmful content; repeated cancellations or Client complaints; fraud or payment abuse; a request by a public authority; or a serious risk to Clients. Before or at the time of a restriction we give you a statement of reasons, except where the law forbids it or the risk is immediate. You can appeal from your dashboard; we answer within a reasonable time.
To close your Studio permanently we give 30 days' notice with reasons, unless the law requires otherwise or you have repeatedly breached these Terms. You can close your Studio yourself at any time from Settings; existing bookings must be honoured or cancelled with full refunds first.
9. Content and reviews
You keep ownership of your photos and text and license them to us for display on the platform and in its marketing while your Studio is listed. Clients may review completed appointments; you may reply publicly. We remove reviews that break our content rules, not reviews you dislike.
10. Changes to these Terms
We give at least 15 days' notice of changes by notification in your dashboard; longer where the change requires technical adaptation. You may close your Studio before the change takes effect. Continuing after that date is acceptance. Changes required by law or to address an immediate security risk may take effect sooner.
11. Complaints and disputes
Write to partners@salonare.com; we acknowledge within 5 business days and aim to resolve within 30. These Terms are governed by Lithuanian law; disputes go to the courts of Vilnius.
12. Liability
We are liable for our own breach of these Terms and for loss that is a foreseeable result of it. We are not liable for lost profit, for Client behaviour, or for interruptions outside our control. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
